Packaging Design
Revlon partnered with the fashion house, Marchesa, to develop a designer collection for Revlon Beauty Tools. The collection consisted of 7 of Revlon’s top-selling tools and a total of 48 components. The target audience was women 25-49, who were “beauty involved”, “well-groomed” and “fashion-forward” consumers looking for salon results at home.
Role:
My role was sole Designer. I recreated the intricate lace pattern, applied it to all 7 components, in 3 different colorways and designed the accompanying blister cards.
Goal:
My goal was to create a collection based on Marchesa’s latest fall runway looks and to incorporate the intricate lace pattern provided.
Challenge:
Because each tool had different printing limitations, like varying minimum line widths, the biggest challenge was to ensure consistency across the collection.
End Result:
Marchesa loved the tools! The collection received the International Packaging Design Finalist Award from the Health and Beauty Association (HBA Global).
